Filter operators are added to the hierarchy below the generators, to adjust the heightmap.

They can be used to make broad-stroke adjustments, like clamping terrain altitude or offsetting position.

They can make precise, artistic adjustments, adding paths, rivers and roads.

They can also simulate realistic effects, including hydraulic (rainfall), coastal and snow erosion.


Each filter operator has its own Properties tab, with individual parameters, instructions for which can be accessed below.
