The xpEmitter lies at the heart of the X-Particles system.

Although it has a huge amount of settings and parameters, it can be simply described as the object that generates particles and dictates their initial characteristics, like speed, size and color.

You can emit particles from the xpEmitter object itself, using the various shape modes.

Alternatively, you can set it up to emit particles from any scene object, generator or spline.
