MeshTools is a package of procedural modeling and animation tools, which gives you artistic control in the manipulation of scene geometry and the generation of splines.

Here we see a Sphere primitive, on the left, set as Type Icosahedron. In the center image, as a child of a complex hierarchy of MeshTools features and, on the right, you see the final rendered possibilities.


MeshTools consists of a number of generator objects, each performing a specific modeling task. To see full explanations of the MeshTools features and their attributes, go to the individual pages. To begin though, simply make your source geometry a child of a MeshTools object.

By using the procedural systems in MeshTools, you can make infinite, non-destructive adjustments. This means you will never need to undo, or start again to change earlier decisions.

You can combine MeshTools effects by layering the individual features in hierarchies. Each layer stays live, with its effects propagating through the system, while keeping the base geometry intact. This can unlock multiple effects, create complex geometry and modify surfaces on existing meshes.

Here we have two Torus primitives. The Torus on the right is part of a complex hierarchy, involving layered MeshTools features and a Spherical Field.


Effects can be driven by fields, shaders, selections and textures, while parameters can be animated via keyframes.
